Our Program: Martha’s Task is a training and work program for homeless and disadvantaged women in the Bartlesville area. At Martha’s Task, trained and talented seamstresses support themselves by selling their professionally handmade gift items through our unique gift store. These women retain 100% of every sale. Martha’s Task serves women willing to stitch together the fabric of their talents and creative energies to sew up new possibilities!
We will learn about history, mission and future plans for this this wonderful non-profit organization.
Their “Sew Original” Gift Shop will be open for us – you will be able to browse all beautiful, handmade items available for purchase.
We will have potluck, as usual, so please bring your fantastic dishes to share!
